"Exploring The World Of Recreation Therapy Via The Internet:
A Beginner's Guide To Exploring The Internet"

Presenter: Charlie Dixon - compuTR, Morgantown, WV

Learning Objectives:

1) Participants will learn how to utilize a web browser.
2) Participants will learn how to find resources on the Internet.
3) Participants will learn how to network on the Internet using CHARTA's
website.

"Computer Applications In Recreation Therapy"

Presenter: Charlie Dixon, CTRS - compuTR, Morgantown, WV

Learning Objectives:

1) Participants will learn a variety of ways to streamline paperwork.
2) Participants will learn how they can use a spreadsheet, wordprocessor,
and database in therapeutic recreation services. Examples of each will
be presented.
3) Participants will view examples of the LDBScorer, TR Software, and
TR-Tips.

"De-Mystifying Research: Practical Considerations for the Clinician"

Learning Objectives:

1) Participants will be able to identify at least three different types of
research.
2) Participants will be able to discuss the basics of the statistical process.
3) Participants will identify the steps to an outcome project.
